Ministry of Planning YDF Program 2024 for Young Development Fellows

The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, which we call MoPD, is run by the Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. This minister needs to be a member of the Pakistan Parliament.

Inside this ministry, there’s a key division called the Planning Commission of Pakistan. It’s in charge of working on important financial and public policies for the Pakistan government. They do research and make plans to help the country’s economy grow and improve public things like roads and buildings.

Now, there are Youth Development Fellows, or YDFs, who are going to help out the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Reform. They’ll be a part of making plans for the government’s Vision 2025 and the 11th Five-Year Development Plan. Along the way, they’ll get trained and become experts in their fields.

The main goal of YDF is to bring together the young people in Pakistan to work on making society better. They want to get rid of things that separate people, like cultural differences and religious beliefs. Instead, they want to celebrate the many different ways people live and make sure everyone’s rights are protected, especially for those who don’t have a strong voice.

The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives announced the 2nd batch of the YDFs Programmed (2nd Phase) to groom talented young women and men.YFD is a unique opportunity for young people who are highly qualified and motivated.
